Hi there ,

        Let me introduce myself , My name is Colin Dowd I'm 29 years old and I
        live in Queensland Australia.
        The purpose of these pages are two fold , Firstly for me to learn a little
        about creating web pages and secondly to show anyone that is interested
        some of the beautiful places that there are to go Four Wheel Driving within
        2-3 hours drive of Brisbane.
        About 2 1/2 years ago I was invited to a trip to Morton Island with some
        friend's of our's little did I know that this trip would change my perception
        of four wheel drive's forever. For many years friend's of mine have owned
        four wheel drive vehicles and I could never see the sense in owning one of
        these big heavy "Ugly" vehicles . Well after returning from Morton Island
        I was on the lookout for a Toyota Land Cruiser that I could call My own,
        After looking a several I decieded on a 1979 BJ 40 (It would be the one on
        the end of the snatch-em strap in the above photo :-)) ...... ah but that is
        another story.)
